Question: The longest of my goldfish is just six inches. Would these stix be too large for them to chew?
Answer: I’ve seen goldfish in our pond around that size gulp down a whole pellet, but it’s not easy for them. You might try to find a different kind of food that is in the shape of little, spherical pellets rather than these lengthy kibbles.
Question: This purse has a very fragile zipper. How many quart-sized bags will this fill?
Answer: This was an item that I had previously bought from Lowes. It was packaged in a large canister sealed with plastic. I have saved this container and now use it to transfer koi food from a sealed bag. It does its job when I carry it out to the fish.
Question: I was wondering whether this really helped the Koi’s color. At the moment, we have 27 distinct blue, white, red, and gold iterations.
Answer: The red heads of my orange koi seem to shine more brightly and Glisson in the sun now that they are in their third box. Both the orange and the black are more prominent. My white koi didn’t get less vibrant, and neither did their orange nor their black markings. So far, so good. These animals prefer this meal than pellets. I give them a supplement designed to promote growth. I’m crossing my fingers that this is of some use.

Answer: At first, they’re buoyant. Once they’ve been there for a few days, they sink. They don’t make it that far because my fish devour them first.

Answer: Feeding this to koi in a pond or aquarium is OK. However, even a koi as tiny as 2 inches in length needs at least 10 to 20 gallons of water, making your tank too small for 3 koi of any size.
