FAQ?

Question: Is it effective against mites on cats, and how crucial is it to thoroughly wipe the product off the skin afterwards?

Answer: Whether or whether it would be effective against mites on cats and dogs is doubtful. The label doesn’t recommend that use. The recommended treatment time for yeast/fungus is 5-10 minutes, followed by a thorough rinse. It’s safe; just use regular hand hygiene after handling. This shampoo targets mites, which are parasites and not bacteria, yeast, or fungi.

Question: How medicinal does this shampoo smell, if at all?

Answer: Pleasant aroma… probably allergy-safe since it’s not overpowering.

Question: Can pregnant dogs use this shampoo?

Answer: If I were to treat my pet for that, I’d only use blue Dawn dish soap. Features the adorable duckling without any equivocation!

Question: How much Benzethonium Chloride with ketoconazole is in a single bottle? Not that I can find on the bottle!

Answer: Ketoconazole is sold at a concentration of 1% and benzethonium chloride at a concentration of 2%.

Question: Is salicylic acid an ingredient in this?

Answer: No. 1% Ketoconazole and 0.2% Benzethonium Chloride are included. Contains Aloe vera and Lanolin as well.

Question: Is there evidence that this reduces hyperpigmentation?

Answer: No. Its intended function is to prevent the spread of secondary fungal infections.

Question: Allow me to utilize it as a guinea pig?

Answer: Most likely, yes. After experiencing a rash on my scalp, I tried it and found it to be effective. After inspecting my bottle, my vet gave it his stamp of approval. Your best bet would be to phone your vet and inquire. My little dog responded well to it.

Question: Is it possible for this shampoo to treat ringworm in canines?

Answer: I have no idea. Ringworm is contagious and easily transmitted, therefore I recommend seeing a vet (from animal to animal – and from animal to human.)
This product smells nice and seems to clean well, but I can’t speak to its efficacy as an anti-fungal on pets. Ketoconazole 1% was among the chemicals mentioned on my bottle. I know little about medicine, but I’ve heard that certain over-the-counter anti-fungals (such as those used to treat jock itch, athlete’s foot, etc.) include 1% or 2% Ketoconazole. Even so, if I had ringworm, I’d probably rush to the vet, or at least ask a pharmacist at the nearest store about 1% Ketoconazole and other over-the-counter treatments for the condition.

Question: Is there the possibility that steroids may be present?

Answer: lacks any kind of steroid boosters. is composed of Aloe Vera, distilled water, and glycerin. My cat’s hair has started growing back in since I started using this product.

Question: Which one would you choose, this antiseptic and antiseborrheic one, or this one? If I let my dog run in the weeds, he comes home with a rash, bumps, and hair loss on his chest and tummy.

Answer: Most often, our Antiparasitic & Antiseborrheic Shampoo is used in the treatment of mange and Seborrhea. Fungal and bacterial infections may create uncomfortable symptoms, but you can get some relief by using the Antifungal Shampoo. If you have any concerns or queries, you should always talk to a veterinarian.

Question: Are yeast infections of the skin prevented by this?

Answer: The best results have been achieved with this approach so far. After every shower, I clean my makeup brushes. avoid re-infecting.

Question: Does a prescription have to be on file before this can be shipped?

Answer: Our medicated shampoo may be bought without a doctor’s prescription.

Question: Has anybody tried this for atopic dermatitis? What were your impressions of the process? Please accept my gratitude.

Answer: Sadly, my shih tzu suffers from allergies. The veterinarian will give you injections to help. For the first time, I got the shampoo and was blown away by how relaxing it was for my dog. I have no idea whether I will get dermatitis from coming here, but I can guarantee that I will be a client for the foreseeable future. And it appears to have a calming effect on him as well, so this is a great product.

Question: A cone to protect the kitten from licking its wounds seems like a good idea.

Answer: You may use a cone or electronic collar to keep your cat from licking off the spray.
